Wedding pictures!

Finally!! Here are some pictures in no particular order from the wedding! Hope you enjoy!

Vows

Oh my, I'm so sorry it's taken us so long to post on here! I didn't realize it was over a month! For the past month or so classes have certainly been a chore for both Jeff and I. I will be done with 2 of my classes in 1 1/2 weeks and Jeff is getting A's in all his classes as of Midterms! God has certainly blessed as we are so grateful for all He's done for us. I will keep trying to find a way to post the powerpoint from the wedding but here are the vows for those who wanted to see them:

I, Jeff:
Promise to completely trust in, cling to, and rely upon the grace of our God and Savior Jesus Christ in order to be to you, Rachel, your husband.
Promise by that same grace to make my primary goal in the remaining years of my life to always serve you and love you as Christ has loved and cherished His Church.
Promise to always sit at the feet of Jesus with you, as we both learn how to point the light which He has given us back towards Him as we live and interact with those around us.
Promise to always look upon you with eyes that will never tire from beholding the gift which God has bestowed to me, and to always enjoy the beauty which your presence and your sweetness adds to my life.
Promise to remember that you belong first and foremost to Jesus Christ, and that He has entrusted you to me until the great and glorious day when either you or I, or both of us, are at home with Him.

I, Rachel, have you Jeff as my best friend,
I promise to give you my fullest devotion and care, in the way that Christ has given it to me, no matter what. I promise to hold your hand prayerfully and stay right by your side through everything, the good and bad. I will share with you all my hopes and fears; joys and sorrows; trials and triumphs. I will respect you always and lend you strength and support for whatever our future holds. I will be there to wipe your tears, struggle with your pains and take on your joys and sorrows as my own. You will be my priority, more than any other earthly thing. I will walk not only with you but your life will be mine until that day the Lord takes us home. I joyously look forward to the commitment of spending the rest of my life with, beside and as one with you, my best friend.

The Wedding!

Hello everyone! We are finally posting some pictures!! These are ones from our honeymoon (we don't have any wedding pics on our computer yet).

First of all, a big thank you to all who were able to come to the wedding and just to those who were so generous to us. You're love and encouragement was overwhelming! We are just so thankful for all of you!

The wedding went SO FAST!!! Jeff and I were talking about that constantly on our honeymoon! We were sitting, waiting to go into the church, and then all of the sudden we were in the exit line at the reception! We wish we could have spent more time with everyone but we'll just have to do it some other time I guess! We are going to try to post the Powerpoint of us as well as the vows since those were some requests we had. We'll do that very soon! Promise!

As for our honeymoon, we had an amazing time!! God certainly gave us perfect weather and we were just so relaxed. It was also amazing how many neat people we met along the way; from the man who owned a coffee shop that gave us a wedding gift of free coffee, to the couple who owned a bookstore that gave Jeff a box of free books for his library as well as discounts on everything we purchased! We went on a pontoon one day but most of the days in Coneaut Lake we just went out a few hours and stayed home, read, watched the olympics, and relaxed!

After the week in Coneaut Lake we were able to go to Binghamton to see OUR Aunt Ginny, Uncle Bob and Grandma Clayton and then headed to New York City to see dear Maribeth Mallman! It was so great to see everyone and we had a fabulous time! Here are the pictures (finally!):

Jeff noticed this man below looking frazzled with a boom box next to him. So Jeff goes, "do you need some help?" The guy says, "Yes. Come on" and points to the stereo. Jeff picks it up and follows him. Then Maribeth turns to me and says, "you can tell that you guys are not from New York City." It was hilarious! Jeff learned from his new friend about the band MISH so hopefully we will see more of them soon! Hahahaaa....

Love you guys!

Wedding Information Part 3

Hello everyone! Only 42 days until the wedding! We are so excited that most of you will be able to join us! We received a lot of requests as to what registry we were doing. Honestly, we want everyone to just come and not bring anything. We just want to celebrate with you without you having to feel obligated to bring something. However, I know many of you show your love and encouragement for us in that way, so, if you so choose, we are registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond (I'm just registering us today) or we could use gas cards. We just really appreciate all of you and the blessings that you have been in our lives!

Little update on me and Jeff:
Jeff is working at the Presbyterian Home this summer and is absolutely loving it! He is on the maintanance crew and aside from getting some scrapes and bee encounters, he is really enjoying himself!
Rachel is still finishing up her class and working and enjoying it all!

We have most of the things for the wedding set. We have the tuxes, dresses, cake, reception hall, church, counseling, musicians and a wonderful wedding organizanizer who have all been so extremely helpful to us. We are so thankful things are working out so well. God is certainly good and we are so grateful to Him for His amazing guidance through this whole process!
